A large warehouse facility in Durham required a reliable waterproofing solution for an existing asbestos flat roof covering approximately 350m². The client needed a system that could provide long-term protection without the disruption and cost associated with a full roof replacement.

Certified Installer NE Flat Roofing completed the installation using our BBA Approved SR20 Multi-Surface Overlay System, specifically designed for overlay applications across a wide range of roofing substrates.

As part of the preparation process, primer was applied across the existing roof surface to ensure maximum adhesion. All roof joints and detailing areas were fully bandaged in accordance with our installation specification before the liquid waterproofing system was installed.

The SR20 system was then applied as per our technical specification, creating a seamless and fully waterproof membrane across the entire roof area.

The completed project resulted in a visually impressive and highly durable flat roof, offering long-term protection against the elements.
